Straus Family Creamery | Gearing Up for Video Interview with Owner Albert Straus

They were founded in 1941 with only 23 dairy cows. They became the first-ever organic creamery west of the Mississippi. Their 100-percent organic milk supports sustainable, rural-community planning. We’re convening at their corporate headquarters in Petaluma, for a conversation about a variety of subjects: the practical challenges of keeping-afloat a sustainable, family business; what it really means, in a world of slick marketers, to be an organic company; and what message Mr. Straus would deliver to die-hard vegans, who are rightly concerned about animal welfare.

Check out the below video to get the skinny on Straus, the crème de la crème of California.
