Rule #14: Eat foods that you can picture growing in nature.

“Read the ingredients on a package of Pringles or vegan cream cheese (just because it says ‘vegan,’ doesn’t make it better for you!) and imagine what those ingredients look like raw or in the places they grow: You can’t do it. This rule will keep all sorts of chemicals and edible foodlike substances off your plate and out of your body.”
